The “Golden Road” series is a collection close to my heart. It’s about what roads bring to us.  It so happens that where I grew up there were no roads.  Cities only have streets.  A street has a limited horizon, at best maybe the end of the block.  Roads on the other hand can be limited only by one’s imagination.   I don’t think I actually found myself on a “real” road until I began traveling the world in my mid-twenties.  Since then a romance with the road ahead has never left me.  Traveling such passages can bring adventure or sorrow, it can be an education or, it can simply mean you are closer or further from someone you love.   I can only hope that these images inspire as much reflection in the viewer as they have in me.
